    As proposed a while back, we are going through with an overhaul on MageBlox. This means a complete server wipe and new mod additions on a higher version of Minecraft. This will be a pretty large transition, but it’s not all bad.

    This means much better server stability instead of major crashes, bugs, outages, and a plethora of other issues. Anyone who purchased from our store will also receive store credit or equal exchange for everything they purchased.

    I feel as if though Pam’s Harvestcraft isn’t an essential and does not add much to the mageblox experience. I may be wrong but almost nobody I’ve interacted with had a deep knowledge of Pam’s and cared for it dearly, just an idea though.

    figured i’d respond here since its somewhat more organized than the discord;

    ive some mod suggestions that i feel could complement the pack rather nicely
    Ice and Fire adds more dragons, mythical creatures and other related content
    Roots: Additional magic mod centered around druidry, could compensate the existing magic feel
    Abyssalcraft integration: adds integration for abyssalcraft to other mods.
    (i’d also suggest toning down the abyssalcraft biome weight if possible, it appears to outclass most other biomes judging by a custom pack)
    Armourer’s workshop: will let people make custom looks for their armor
    Cosmetic armor: will let you disguise armor as other armor
    Chisel&bits: Allows you to create custom’blocks’ by letting you place smaller blocks in the space of a single block
    Chisel: adds a lot of decorative blocks

    the list seems fine to me outside of that, though
    mystcraft still entirely caused me to freeze in 1.12, so that may be worth looking out for.

    Bestarius suggested to remove mo’ creatures on account of high mob spawns, no pams harvestcraft on account of it being rather pointless in lategame
    He also suggested to add bibliocraft and usefull backpacks
    (i quite like bibliocraft too, i very much second that notion, forgot it existed)

    So far I have loved this server and havent even touched the surface of the mods but i like all the ones I have. I would like to suggest the redstone paste mod. It allows for much more streamlined and compact redtone devices. I would also like to suggest the torch lever mod. I love secret passages and this mod make for some great ones.

    Hey, I wanted to suggest adding a mod that adds werewolves and/or vampires seeing as they seemed to be quite a big part of the original Mageblox modpack. The Vamprism mod and the Howling Moon mod are the two of those that I know are in 1.12.2.

    Abyssalcraft is a good plugin, but I do find it quite intrusive that the shaggoths can mine through your base if you’re unlucky, but is an interesting addon. I do approve of all the apiculture addons Pam’s can get a little agressive also with its plantspread in loaded chunks, the changes to Blood Magic and Thaumcraft in 1.12 will be refreshing and annoying at the same time. There’s is a witchery successor in Bewitchment, however it is still very much in development, so caveat empor. However I look forward to experiencing it, I can already imagine my first build 😀

    For those who are concerned, we are still hard at work for the MageBlox update. We need time to configure the server’s backend software while also taking feedback and testing mods.
